For a utility in Azerbaijan, QT has drafted the methodology to improve the generation efficiency of hydropower units, which could add 5-10% additional hydro output, reducing the use of fossil fuels. This project will use an information technology system to help managers optimize the use of their hydroplants - the result will be an increase in hydropower output for the same amount of water flowing through the dam. It is also a project that has virtually no negative environmental impacts.
