do for you

QualityTonnes is a global leader in helping companies realize the potential of carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocol's Clean Development Mechanism and Joint Implementation program (CDM and JI). QT helps businesses take advantage of the opportunity to create carbon assets for sale in this emerging global market. QT helps projects get accredited for sale in the international carbon market, puts together project financing, conducts feasibility and risk assessments, and helps negotiate terms of sale of CO2 emission reduction credits. The UK environmental investment and advisory group Climate Change Capital and its funds acquired the assets of Quality Tonnes in April 2007.
    QualityTonnes has:
+ Put together numerous projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and generate carbon credits.
+ Created carbon assets for companies by developing numerous approved CDM methodologies. QT has helped many companies navigate the complex regulatory hurdles of CDM accreditation -- a requirement for the sale of most carbon credits.
+ A broad range of experience, with expertise in the power, oil/gas, energy efficiency and renewable energy sectors
+ Experience negotiating emission reduction purchase agreements
+ Experience in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Eastern Europe/Former Soviet Union
+ Developed innovative, first-of-its-kind methodologies, including hydropower optimization, methane reduction in the gas sector and improved appliance efficiency
+ Developer of the first methodologies from Sub-Saharan Africa, excluding South Africa

-  Flare Reduction in Oil and Gas Facilities
+ Power companies determine greenhouse gas credit potential from improving generation, transmission and distribution efficiency
-  SF6 In Transmission Systems
-  Hydro Optimization
-  Combined Cycle Generation
-  Elimination of Diesel Self-Generation
+ Private and Public entities assess energy efficiency opportunities to generate carbon credits
